Goals for the City of Joliet
Safe neighborhoods, jobs and infrastructure are Mayor Giarrante’s major priorities. He is working to continue to maintain the high quality of services to the taxpayers and to make all neighborhoods in Joliet a safe place to raise families. He is continually working to attract bring new businesses and industries to Joliet while supporting our many existing businesses. Immediately upon taking office, he established the Committee to Attract and Retain Business (CARB) – a committee comprised of 18 local professional and business people to assist in maintaining his vision of a strong “pro-business” atmosphere. He realizes that while the City of Joliet has done a great job to eliminate basement flooding, we still have a long way to go. |
