Bob first moved to Joliet in 1993 when he was hired as a Joliet Police Officer. During his ten years on the police department, Bob was nominated 4 times for Officer of the Year and won the Martin S. Murin Labor Award in 1995. In 2003, Bob graduated from the John Marshall Law School and retired from the police department. Bob was hired by the City of Chicago and worked as a prosecutor in the city law department. Three years later, Bob returned to Joliet working in private practice. In the fall of 2008, Bob was deployed to Iraq working for the United States Department of State in conjunction with the United States military and Iraqi Police. After 20 months, Bob returned back to the US and resumed his law practice in Joliet. Bob lives in the Cathedral Area, is a proud father of a ten-year old daughter, a co-owner of the Joliet law firm Carlson, Zelazo and O'Dekirk, and a parishoner at St. Raymonds Cathedral.
