Garage Sale Permit

***NO PERMITS WILL BE ISSUED IN AN EASEMENT***

***These examples below are meant as general guidelines and are subject to final approval by staff.***

Sidewalk Permit

What you need:

1. Plat of survey

2. Cost estimate

3. Material to be used

4. Measurements

5. HOA approval (if applicable)

Cost of permit: $6 for replacement, $19 for each 100 lineal feet of new sidewalk.

Important Information:

1. Must remain at least 3 ft. from the property line

2. Must consist of concrete or brick pavers.

3. Must remain out of all easements.

4. Public walks (city walks) may require approval from public works.

Driveway Permits

What you need:

1. Plat of survey

2. Cost estimate

3. Material to be used

4. Measurements

5. HOA approval (if applicable)

6. Plan detailing installation such as thickness, fill depth and wire mesh.

Cost of Permit:  $12

Important Information:

1. Driveways must remain 2.5 ft. from the property line.

2. Must consist of concrete, asphalt or brick pavers. (Gravel is not allowed).

3. Must remain out of all easements'4. Concrete slab must be a minimum thickness of 4" with wire mesh, Concrete in approaches or at sidewalks must be 6" with wire mesh.

4. If driveway is shared owner must provide proof of shared easement written in the deed.

5. Existing driveways may only be extended to the right of way from the residence.

6. The use of material other than concrete in the public right of way requires Public Works approval.

7. Maximum width of approach is 26 ft. at sidewalk & 29 ft. at the curb.
