C. Louis and Lydia Pearce house

The C. Louis and Lydia Pearce house is a 2 story Vernacular Foursquare/Prairie style brick structure built by noted Joliet architect Rudolph Hoen in 1922. The structure is distinguished by a pyramidal hip roof, Prairie style multi-light windows and a full width open front porch supported on two corbel brick columns. A pre-cast concrete ornamental coursing band runs horizontally around the perimeter of the house adding emphasis to the horizontal Prairie influence of the structure. A matching brick garage is located at the rear of the property.
