Henry Schwartz house

The Henry Schwartz house is a 2 ½ story Vernacular/Classical Revival style wood clapboard structure built circa 1871 on a Joliet limestone foundation. The structure has an asymmetrically-placed single entry door and a 1 story Classical Revival open front porch with a hip roof. The residence is one of the earliest surviving structures on U.S. Rt. 30, also known as “ Old Plank Road ”.
