John Leiser house
The John Leiser house is a 2 ½ story Greek Revival/ Vernacular /Italianate style Joliet limestone structure built on a Joliet limestone foundation in 1874. The structure has a north-of-center wood paneled Italianate double door with transom light and limestone hoodmold and a front gable roof with rosette in the front gable. A flat-roof hexagonal bay projects from the south elevation. The structure exhibits Greek Revival massing and Italianate detailing as seen in the segmental arched hoodmolds and the projecting bay.
