Joseph Del Rose House — 319 North Eastern Avenue

The Joseph Del Rose House is a rare but very well-preserved example of the Art Deco style in Joliet.  The 3 unit structure was built in 1940 with a one story plus walk-out basement. The building is distinguished by original wrought iron railings framing the twin entry doors and by a smooth stucco exterior, rounded at the corners and roof to give it a streamlined silhouette characteristic of the Art Deco style.  A matching Art Deco garage is located at the rear of the property. The structure is a Local Landmark.
