Robert Rub House — 1410 Fredrick

The Robert Rub House is a 1½ story modified Cape Cod Sears Catalog House built in 1938 by the original owner.  The “kit” or “catalog” house was shipped by boxcar and assembled on site. The structure is distinguished by an open front porch which features an arch opening in the gable. The porch is offset and supported by square pillers and a pair of 6 over 6 double hung sash on the front elevation. A small dormer is located above the main floor windows. The structure is a Local Landmark and part of the Catalog House Thematic District.
