The Grohue Home

Built in 1929, the Grohue residence is a two-story English Tudor Revival that has been unaltered and well maintained since its completion. This landmark was nominated for its architectural significance, as it is an excellent example of a brick and stucco and timber English Tudor Revival style. The east end of the main north façade has a central chimney flanking multi-pane steel casement windows. The chimney rises through the sloped roof. A shed dormer extends from the chimney to the sloped roof. The central entry is recessed and topped with a small end gable detailed with stucco and timber ornamentation.
