Walter Pitcher house

Nominated for its architectural style, the Walter Pitcher house is an example of the tailored Colonial Revival style, popular in the late 19th and early 20th century. Constructed in 1915, this dark-red brick two-story is symmetric when viewed from the street. It is a flat-surfaced, horizontal, rectangle building with front steps that lead to the small front covered porch, flanked by one story white pillars. The home has multi-paned, evenly spaced windows on both the first and second floor and Gothic dormer windows extending from the roof. The long-lasting slate roof is original. Central chimneys rise on each end of the home. This house remains a single-family home.
